About Us
Complete Playground is a growing nonprofit where children of all abilities play, learn, and thrive. We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and organized Operations Manager to run our facility, lead our team, and grow our programs.
What You’ll Do
* Manage daily operations, ensuring everything is safe, clean, and running smoothly.
* Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff.
* Lead the team during busy weekends, events, and peak days.
* Oversee and grow camps, classes, and school field trips, including scheduling, staffing, and enrollment.
* Proactively reach out to schools, generate group bookings, and build long-term partnerships.
* Identify opportunities to increase enrollment, program participation, and revenue.
* Solve problems quickly and keep families and staff happy.
Who You Are
* Friendly, outgoing, and great with children, families, and staff.
* A strong multitasker who stays calm and organized when things get busy.
* At least 3 years of experience managing staff and operations in recreation, children’s programs, camps, hospitality, or a similar field.
* Proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated — someone who sees what needs to be done and takes action.
* Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Strong plus: Experience working with children with special needs, including neurodiverse children.
Also a plus: Nonprofit experience or established relationships with NYC schools.
